Contemporary modern extension to existing residence. Architect owners conceived alterations and additions to marry old and new and create a dynamic contemporary home. The existing residence consisted of a double fronted three bedroom Edwardian, additions more than doubled the original building area footprint. The contemporary extension included a 2nd story with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, downstairs encompassed kitchen, living and dining areas with outdoor living and lap pool. The project presented numerous unique requirements including adherence to heritage and planning restrictions, fitting old and new construction elements and use of recycled materials throughout including concreting flooring and feature brick walls.

This project attracted substantial media attention and was reviewed in leading industry and architectural journals such as 'House and Garden' & 'Houses' - see below
